Valpolicella Bike Tour

Overview

Bicycle tour with a private local guide around the Valpolicella hills. We will pass through the country sides, the vineyards and the villages of this wine region near the city of Verona. The tour also includes a wine tasting in a family owned cellar in Valpolicella to sample the local wines.

A local expert will guide you in a special tour by bicycle to discover the Valpolicella, a wine region around Verona. During the tour we will stop in a winery to sample the famous wines of this area, including the Amarone.

If you want is possible to enrich the tour with a visit Conegliano Valdobbiadene. Near this area there is Bassano del Grappa, famous for inventing the spirit Grappa, traditionally an after-dinner drink made from pomace.

Day 1: WELCOME IN VERONA

Arrival in Verona - Pick-up the bicycles and short briefing

Day 2: GIRO DELLA VAL POLICELLA

Valpolicella throungh the bicycle path along the Adige towards Fumane.
Stop in a local wine cellar for a wine tasting. Comeback to Verona skirting the Adige river and passing through Parona di Valpolicella

Day 3: GIRO DEL LAGO DI GARDA

Garda Lake tour. we cross by bike the small towns of Lazise, Garda and Bardolino
